Cockermouth Heritage Group Exhibition

This year's exhibition focuses on the closing months of World War I. It considers the War's impact on life in Cockermouth, the 1918 flu epidemic and the aftermath of war. It also examines the role of women in town life, against the backdrop of the strengthening suffragette movement.

We would be very pleased to see any old photographs you might have - for donation, or for scanning and return.

The exhibition runs 10am - 4pm daily from the 30 July to 12 August 2017.

The exhibition includes a free creative workshop on the theme of remembrance, on Sat 4th August, 11am - 3pm.
