Henry Normal – Writing Comedy for TV, Film & Radio Workshop

What are the top 20 mistakes and how can you avoid them?

Producer of many TV hits including Gavin and Stacey, the Mighty Boosh and Moone Boy and the Partridge film Alpha Papa, Henry talks through the common mistakes people make again and again. Co-writer of the Royle Family, Mrs Merton, Paul Calf, Coogan’s Run and the film the Parole Officer, Henry has worked in TV and film for 25 years. Using informal interaction with the group here he provides insight and solid examples of the pit falls of comedy writing. Targeting the advice to the specific needs and level of the writers attending Henry embraces everything from originality of ideas through the script editing process and selling to TV or Film companies.

Workshop only £3 (instead of £5) when a ticket is purchased for ‘Henry Normal: A Normal Family’ at the same time. Discount applied automatically at checkout.
