The Chef Show
A fusion of play and cookery demonstration.
Please note Wednesday 29th now Sold Out!
Tickets still available for Tuesday 28th May at Bassenthwaite Parish Rooms, Thursday 6th June at Torpenhow Village Hall, and Saturday 8th June at Ullock Village Hall.
Two actors play all the roles in the story of a busy night in the local curry house. They are also joined by a chef from your very own local restaurant – offering a spicy cookery demonstration. Includes a chance to share food and conversation with your local chef and the cast.
A show that will be deliciously entertaining for all the family!
The story of The Chef Show centres on father and son Abdul and Kamal on a particularly busy night in their restaurant. As they struggle to deal with all of the customers ‘out front’ and the staff in the kitchen they also have to decide on the future of the family business. Will Kamal carry on the family business, or is this the end?
Much of the fun of the show comes from seeing just two actors having to play multiple roles – in the same scene!
